Almighty Fear - I feel controversial today

Almighty Fear

God is dead
And Jesus will never resurrect
The rock that covers
Is bound by regret

God is blind
God is evil
God is all powerful
God is a 9mm

He turns his back
Letting the meek decay
And the wealthy deceive
And corrupt life away

God is a myth
God is danger
God is bloodshed
God is a full metal Jacket

If God is good
Why did he kill your dog?
Your mother, your father
Your unborn child

Why because god is a lie
Created by the white collar
To keep the masses in line
And worship at the altar of the dollar

My latest Poem - Death Is Me

Death Is Me

Darkness is the answer
Peace is not for me
Dreams are not the future
They are the way to be free

 When I look deep inside
I can see the white of bone
I wish I could be loved
So I know I am not alone

Death is the way
Death is the truth
Death is free
Death is the future
Death is me!

All I want is to be
To exist and please stay
In this decaying world
But you won’t let me play

This world is not for me
They destroyed my toy
And now you pray
To that carpenters boy

Nothing will change
You walk blinded by fear
Streets run with blood
And not a solitary tear

Death is the answer
Death is the priest
Death is light
Death is the inevitable
Death is me!

Ah the Seventies - Poem for the day

Ah the Seventies (a reflection of my life)

Ah the Seventies
A Time when going for a fag out the back
Had a double connotation
One was a cigarette
The other same sex gratification
Ah the seventies
When your mates called you a poof
Or worse a Spick or a wog,
It was a simple time
When ugly girls were a dog
Ah the Seventies
A simple time for me to remember
When we hurt others with taunts
But we didn’t know any better
And now the damage done haunts
Ah the Seventies
When to be promiscuous as a girl
Would see you labelled a gangie or slut
And if girls didn’t put out
They were labelled a mutt
Ah the Seventies
They were the time of my youth
Also a time when fathers were lost
Fighting in a war that was not ours
At such a terrible cost
Ah the Seventies
When the skirts were short
And to be an aussie was the best
To live in the lucky country
We didn’t care about the rest
Ah the Seventies
How I long to be back in your warm embrace
A time when I didn’t know or even care
And the only worry was passing school
And how much people commented on your hair.
Ah the Seventies
There were starving kids in Africa
And you finished all the food on your plate
Even the broccoli and beans,
Because if you didn’t that was all you ate
Ah the Seventies
I miss you so much that it hurts
Back when I was so young and dumb
A time of simple things of fun
For now I look back see what I have become
Ah the seventies
With the pressure of life a burden to others
I wish I had known of my impending jeopardy
With Girls and footy the only things on my mind
And the ravages of life a forgotten memory

Trapped - Poem for today

People don't understand what it's like.
To be trapped inside
To run away and hide
Where there is no sky
To be hidden
To be bed ridden
Listening to every lie

You don't know how it feels
To be defeated
Bashed, mistreated
Where you retreat inside
To feel neglected
To feel rejected
Knowing everybody lied

But here within my soul
I am elated
I am no longer berated
And I don't have to hide
No longer sedated
No more frustrated
People wondering if I had died

Now I know how it feels
To be someone
To be your one
Only one more goal to strive
No more silence
No more compliance
Because now I feel alive

My Poetry Book
This is a collection of some of my work so far in my life. I have led a full and hopefully inconclusive life so far as my poetry and writing is concerned. My poetic musings are like my children, they are full of my emotions and raw feelings mixed with the inner darkness and fun we as humans have. I ask you to look inside the mind of an Ordinary man and see the clutter I have dispelled.
